Chiropractor Rob Borer of Saline met "The Terminator" and California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger March 7 at the Annual Symposium on Natural Fitness in Columbus, OH.
The world's most famous chiropractic patient, Schwarzenegger was the highlight of a full weekend as the featured speaker. Held in conjunction with the Arnold Schwarzenegger Fitness Weekend and Sports Festival, the symposium includes participation in the biggest fitness festival in the world with more than 15,000 athletes competing in over 30 different sports competitions, many of which are conducted at the Olympic level.
"We see athletes of all ages in our office," Borer said in a news release. "It's a lot of fun to help athletes resolve injuries and problems that are holding them back and watch them improve their performance."
At the symposium, Borer attended clinical presentations and lectures aimed at furthering his understanding on the close relationship between fitness and health, as well as the development of optimum performance in sports and injury prevention in the context of chiropractic care.
"Many of the presenters discussed how they helped Olympic athletes such as Dana Torres improve their performance through chiropractic care," Borer said.
