Congratulations to all the participants in the 2023 12th Annual Saline Scarecrow Contest. Downtown Saline was full and vibrant filled with this year's entries. Thanks to all the participants for making downtown Saline look so good once again in the month of October.
This year's theme "My Michigan Favorite" drew 27 entries vying for top honors. The creativity and talent was abundant and the choices were competitive. And the winners are...
Top awards went to The Boyless Family with their creation "Jerome the Vernor's Gnome" who not only won the People's Choice First Place honors in the "Individual" category, but also was awarded "BEST OF SHOW" by our panel of 5 juried artists.
BEST ARTISTIC PRESENTATION was awarded to "Elias Brothers Big Boy" created by The Saline Post.
BEST INTERPRETATION OF THE THEME was awarded to "Michigan Nature" by Apotheke Salon.
