Is Chiropractic a Quick Fix?

Over 15 years of delivering chiropractic care in private practice it has been a true joy to see individuals enter my office with a challenging health problem, in debilitating pain and through the care that I deliver watch them improve to the point where they no longer have pain limiting their daily activities and regain control over their life once again.

During this time in practice I have encountered a wide variety of personality types, ages, backgrounds, socio-economic strata and presenting problems.  Even with this wide variety of individuals that end up seeking care in my office there are some things that they all have in common.  Among those common attributes are questions or expectations they hold when going to a chiropractor.

Very high on this list would definitely be the expectation of how quickly will my pain go away, or how quickly will my problem improve.  And without a doubt, most people, no matter what they say, have very unrealistic expectations of the length of time necessary to correct and resolve problems related to their spine.

Every person's issues are unique.  Every person's problems were created with their own particular circumstances.  No two cases will ever be identical.  And every case will respond slightly differently.

However, to give some realistic expectations of time frames for improvement I wanted to share a recent success story in our office to illustrate results that could be considered typical in the timing of how spinal problems improve under chiropractic care.

Here is Al's story:

Amazing Low Back Pain Results at Saline Chiropractic Office following Physical Therapy

Dr. Rob Borer and Al W.  former low back pain sufferer.

"Even after 8 weeks of physical therapy, my back pain was so bad that I couldn’t stand for more than a few seconds without the pain getting so bad I would not be able to function for days.  After the first 2 weeks of care at Borer Family Chiropractic I really didn’t notice any improvement.  After the third week I noticed a definite improvement and by the end of week four I was pain free.  I’m now at week 6 and feel I can finally start taking my life back."
